Vtubers Against ICE

Update on what's happening with VT v ICE TL:DR We're shifting our focus to support other projects, fundraisers etc, and spreading awareness and information that can help in the fight.

ICE has fallen out of the headlines but July marked the largest number of migrant detentions ever on record. Five migrants have died in ICE custody in the last two months. It's also currently impossible to legally migrate to this country, as 100% of visa applications have been paused.

We're extending the application deadline, as due to irl circumstances beyond our control things have faced a few delays, we'll be announcing more soon, but keep those applications coming and the team will get back to you asap.

DHS has been abusing administrative subpoenas to go after people who criticize ICE online. If this happens to your accounts, know your rights.

The Trump admin has been trying to get its hands on everyone's data to help them go after immigrant communities, opponents, and dissenters. Now, the Senate might give them more power to spy on us, under the guise of stopping shoplifters. Congress must block CORCA.

Immigration agents' abuses are rampant, but ACLU state affiliates across the country are coordinating an all-out effort to hold them accountable.

ICE agents violently attacked Dr. Norma Bowe in front of Delaney Hall. She was there to run a mobile health clinic. ICE's cruelty knows no bounds — in or out of detention centers. @aclu-nj.org joined dozens of ACLU affiliates to represent people who were harmed by federal immigration agents.

Colin is right: We must exercise our power to change the course of history. For his lifetime achievements advocating for racial justice and empowering youth, we are proud to recognize Colin Kaepernick with our new Ralph Ellison Award for Defenders of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.

Recent reports suggest that ICE is using flight passenger information to locate non-citizens without secure lawful status and arrest them when boarding or after disembarking from flights. If you don't have secure lawful status, consider the risks of flying and contact your attorney if you have one.

No one is safe when ICE feels empowered to detain U.S. citizens, use violence, and retaliate against those exercising our free speech rights. ACLU state affiliates across the country are representing people harmed by federal law enforcement to make sure immigration agents aren't let off the hook.

Camp East Montana is known as a "graveyard for living people" where at least three people have died. Our recent litigation shows its horrors — medical neglect, beatings, minimal sunlight, filthy conditions, inedible food, and more. If ICE won't do anything about it, we'll keep seeing them in court.

ACLU affiliates across the country have filed 54 claims against immigration agents seeking to hold them accountable for violence and misconduct against U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, families, and people exercising their First Amendment rights.

Marimar says the only thing worse than the physical scars of an immigration agent shooting her are the mental scars that will always remind her of the time her own government tried to kill her. The days of ICE and CBP acting with impunity must be over.

I'll be mostly helping out behind the scenes this time round, but VT vs ICE is back again and ready to start earning some funds to help the ACLU in their fight against the fascist regime and to help those currently in ICE custody get their freedom back.

ICE's temporary holding facility in Manhattan was built to hold a handful of people for a few hours at a time. For several weeks, ICE packed it with up to 86 people without any beds, showers, or full-time medical staff. We're suing.

President Trump just lost at the Supreme Court on a signature executive order he signed on day one of his presidency. He tried rewriting the Constitution to redefine who is a citizen — and we stopped him.
