Bad enough for anyone to claim the only point of impeachment is winning future elections—it’s the Constitutional response to abuse of power—but worse to say impeachment failed because Trump got reelected. He lost in 2020, after the deserved impeachment the same Dems said would hand him reelection.

The Fifth Amendment is possibly the most important. If the right to due process is not extended to ALL PERSONS, of all groups, any person may be declared a member of a group undeserving of due process, denied due process, and never have an opportunity to prove themselves deserving of due process.

The biggest scandal is not that top NatSec officials included a journalist on secret war deliberations on Signal, though that itself is very bad. The biggest scandal is how it shows they’re doing this a lot, exposing NatSec secrets, breaking record keeping laws, and we have no idea what or how much.

Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain.

The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there.I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done.
