CDC Deputy Director Dr. Jennifer Shuford is leaving after 6 months in the position. One person said it’s a family issue. Another said it’s because she disagrees with RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine actions. My guess is that something terrible prompted this and we’ll find out what after the election.

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the kind words about Tyler - he was special. He wasn't with us for long enough, but he was much loved and we miss him. We've ordered a lovely plaque to remember him. Pictured is our beautiful Boni, who is fluffy and bouncy, and also much loved.

Zuri settled in well overnight with her puppies, 4 girls and 4 boys. They're each a bit over 300g now and 3 days old. Sleeping on blankets inside a warm room is a far cry from a cold patch of dirt near a sidewalk. She won't have to forage for food or worry that her babies will freeze or starve.

This was like his 3rd glitch during the speech where he just randomly stops mid-sentence and makes a weird noise or, in this case, just opens his mouth and freezes for 3 seconds while saying nothing, then continues. Pretty sad that TV networks refuse to cover this situation.

🐾 An update on Tyler (not an easy read) 🐾 This morning we took full body x-rays and found a number of disturbing things. Tyler is older than we thought. He has cataracts and severe arthritis. X-rays also show severe demineralization in his rib bones, which could be nutritional or cancer related.
