The timing of this feels suspect, especially after the diesel deal and so close to the midterms. This entire administration stinks from the head down. Also outrageous that Witkoff and Kushner are negotiating in the name of the US. Also, hope Mr Hubbard makes it home soon and recovers.

Leaf blowers should be vacuums. It's windy today and a guy is blowing leaves that get blown back to where they were.

I'm glad to know there are people like Mirjana Spoljaric doing this critical work. Power, profit--these things seem to be all that matters to some world leaders, ours included. Next thing you know Rubio will call for sanctions against the ICRC.

The situation in Haiti is terrifying. On Sunday, 150 gunmen swept down on a town to kill, rape, loot, and burn. 22 people were executed in a churchyard. 52 were taken hostage. Stephen Miller mockingly says Haiti is safe and ICE just sent its second deportation flight this month; with kids on board.

They all suffer crushing guilt regardless, and many become lobbyists for car sensors that indicate weight in the car seat. What is surprising is the number of people who admit to close calls with forgetting a child in the car--a nurse, a tv anchor, even the author of a study on the phenomenon.

The best low-tech reminder mentioned in the article is for the driver to remove a shoe and leave in in the back seat if they are transporting a child. But the real solution needs to work for parents and caregivers on autopilot. This is an avoidable tragedy.

This is typical behavior by everyone in this administration: show no concern for the troubling situation and deny accountability for the troubling situation. This administration has shown that any random person could be a cabinet member and do no worse than the current ones.

It's the man's M.O. to never take responsibility, never be accountable. Pass the buck always. He was willing to imprison innocent Americans to cover for his incompetence and corruption. And still people cover for him.
