This is more common than you’d sadly think. In the anime voice acting sphere, there is a series of animated films made by an actual cult known as Happy Science. A lot of household name actors have voiced in these; I doubt many of them knew that when they recorded. Sometimes it’s just a paycheck.

It's not even the ethics of it. My career, my hobbies, my free time, hell, my whole life took off once I fully left Twitter.
