Milo Yiannopoulos got deported! washingtonpost.com/opinions/202... "Yiannopoulos is one of the loudest and most loathsome proponents of Trump’s immigration policies. His deportation as an illegal immigrant reaches such high levels of irony that the news should come with an FDA warning."
Why hasn't President Trump freed Andrew & Tristan Tate? Because the manosphere's "Top G" no longer holds that title. And he's accused of child porn, raising the specter of the #EpsteinFiles for Trump. My latest analysis video for @usatoday.com's Extremely Normal: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyOJ...
"Tate, who calls himself the “Top G,” no longer holds a position atop the manosphere as he once did. Secondly, the Tates are charged with possession of child pornography, an accusation that raises the specter of the Epstein Files"
There are two main reasons observers say Trump hasn't intervened in the Andrew & Tristan Tate case: 1. Tate is accused of child porn, and this would remind people about the Epstein files; 2. Tate is no longer "Top G" in the manosphere, so backing him has little political gain.

Missed this last week, but superb reporting from @willcarless.bsky.social here.

New from me @notus.com: The DOJ has cancelled biannual election-crimes classes for investigators. It deleted the manual that explains how to avoid tampering with votes. And it isn't prepping for the usual Election Day command center at FBI hq. www.notus.org/2026-electio...
It’s wild how many people are in my mentions saying things like “All thanks to the SPLC” — like that’s something witty or clever. The SPLC paid informants to infiltrate groups like this, sure. To suggest those few people account for most extremists is just ignorant and smacks of denialism.

"Members of Patriot Front idolize Hitler, they joke about the Holocaust, they use racial slurs and they very much want to psychologically traumatize nonwhite groups – they are very comfortable being white supremacists in private.” -- @jtischauser.bsky.social

The teenagers behind a shooting at a San Diego mosque last week wore patches associated with Atomwaffen Division, a defunct neo-Nazi group, and drew clear inspiration from "Terrorgram," a loose network of neo-Nazis that supports the use of terrorism. Latest: www.splcenter.org/resources/ha...
"The words 'replace' or 'replacement' appear on 14 of the 75 pages of the document being studied by law enforcement."
The two men who attacked a San Diego mosque on Monday left a document showing they were steeped in racist, white supremacist ideologies, including accelerationism and the "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory. LATEST: www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...

The FBI says these teenagers "didn't discriminate" in their hate. They did. They left a document laying out explicitly who they discriminated against, and why. Experts say it clearly espouses a mishmash of far-right neo-fascism:

The word "hero" gets thrown around a lot. But it's clear the attack on the San Diego Islamic Center yesterday could have been SO much worse. 140 children were feet away from the attackers. Security guard Amin Abdullah engaged these cowards in a gunfight, and they ran away.
It’s absolutely bonkers to me that Americans are being completely gouged at the pump, ostensibly because of geopolitics, and at the same time oil companies are making record profits! Why are we all OK with this? www.nytimes.com/2026/05/07/b...

www.usatoday.com/story/news/n... Important perspective on the SPLC story from @willcarless.bsky.social (Will is excellent and it is not his fault that USA Today has added an "AI Overview" section up top)
An indictment is literally a list of allegations. That just what it is.
REPORTER: I just want to make sure I understand. You're alleging that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying the leaders of KKK and other groups? BLANCHE: I'm not alleging it. The grand jury returned an indictment that says that
Today would be a great day for current and former FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors to reach out to me and detail some of the hate group infiltrators the feds have paid over the decades. Reach me confidentially on signal/telegram at 415.416.5231
The DOJ indicted SPLC for paying informants. But the FBI does it too Paying sources to infiltrate hate groups is a tried-and-tested tactic long employed by federal law enforcement agencies. My latest for @usatoday.com www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...
Former fed prosecutor told me: “The idea that people who contribute to the SPLC would have objected that some of their funding was going to pay people who infiltrated extremist far-right groups like the Ku-Klux Klan is ridiculous on its face … it’s stupid. It doesn’t pass the laugh test”

In announcing yesterday’s indictment, FBI Director Kash Patel claimed the SPLC was essentially supporting extremism by paying high-level informants That’s the *exact criticism that’s been made of the FBI & DOJ’s use of paid confidential informants for decades. Stones. Glass houses.
