Hi, I'm Will. I've been a game designer since 2006, working on the MotorStorm series and Drive Club at Evolution. I did a few years on Star Citizen before relocating to Sweden to work at Avalanche on Generation Zero, Second Extinction, and Ravenbound. Now I'm at Chief Rebel on Fellowship.

Sad to hear about Walter Koenig, I've just been researching TOS in the evenings and have delighted in every claim that something was invented in Russia. He was so cheeky and fun.

Have been head-down on work stuff the last few weeks but it's davastating working hard in this industry to look up and see another giant fall to the cruel gods of corporate. BioWare put the 'Arts' in Electronic Arts.

This new Star Wars: Galactic Racer sounds really good. Excited to jump in, once I'm done with Control Resonant, Ace Combat 8 and Nivalis Nights. A lot of good stuff out at the moment, eh?

Show me writing an AI generated, I could send it back and say "improve this" and it makes arbitrary changes, finds synonyms, shortens, or restructures. I could ask it 100x and it will do so 100x. If I asked a human to 'improve it', they look at it for an hour and come back and say nah "it's good".

AI Fuckin' sucks, it doesn't know shit, it has no soul. How can it know when something is good enough, how can it be cool with imperfections because that's where human art lives. Get out of here with its algorithms trying to generate soulless perfection.

It's been real nice seeing all the outpouring of love for Star Trek, with the show celebrating it's 60th anniversary this week. It's a shame it's future is a little shaky but my head swims with the possibility of that universe.

Lanterns continues to be great, this show really is on a roll. I hope it can stick the landing, but I could watch these two solve cases across the galaxy for as long as they keep this show going.

Save us from another fear-driven remake/remaster. Just make a new title. Look at God of War, look at Doom. Your franchise doesn't need to do 'the first one again' (looking at you Halo, Tomb Raider, and Splinter Cell).

PlayStation is reportedly planning to revive the Killzone series, with a new 'remaster/remake' currently in the early stages of development. vgc.news/news/playsta...

Reached the soft ending of 'Big Walk' last night with the gang. Absolutely loved that experience from start to finish. Finding things out, collaborating, feeling smart. We were tired once we got the black key and none of us wanted to go to bed until we did the last bit. Lovely.

Solid thumb-up for this first episode of Lanterns. I could watch Kyle Chandler read the phone book, to be honest, but this episode really got it's hooks into me. Aaron Pierre is solid too, I loved his cool but capable style in 'Rebel Ridge' and can't wait for his role to open up.

Hyped for this, ngl, have been waiting for Green Lantern to hit TV for years.

What's with this shit? I've spent the last few years rejecting cookies from sites, accepting only the essentials if I must, and now I'm told i gotta PAY to not accept cookies, else I gotta accept all? Save me EU, this can't be legal.

Tech Company: At long last, we have created the Vast and Trunkless Leg of Stone, Standing in the Desert from classic poem Ozymandias.

Next up, The Batmobile from 'The Batman's. I've had this on my wish list for a while but it had been out of stock. Excited to get stuck in. #modelmaking

Exterior is nice, although there're some annoying sprue attachment points directly on outward-facing panels that could/should have been on the underside to preserve the aesthetic.

All in all, a great model and it's going immediately on my shelf above my desk. I'm tempted to dismantle it and airbrush it, putting in some better chrome and detailing, maybe some weathering. But for right now this is great. Would recommend.

This model is super easy to make. Lots of great little parts to make the engine and the framework. The steering wheel, console, throttle and gears are all individual pieces.

A great first day. Stickers slowed me down a little, and I tried doing panel-lining as I went, which was always a thing that gets tricky for smaller models if you leave it to the end. Tomorrow is 'leg day'.

The stickers were a little fussy and broke up the making, but otherwise a fun build, and really got me excited to make more from GQuuuuuuX.

Saw 'The Odyssey' at the Printwork IMAX in Manchester. One of the only 3 screens in the UK to show it in the full 70mm format Nolan filmed it in. Had a great time. A+, can't wait to see it a second time just to take it all in. Epic in all senses of the word. Everyone is acting their arse off.

Man, Sam Neil, what a class act and man of genuine warmth and heart. A real gent. As soon as he turns up in any film you know you're in for a good time. Terrible news this morning.

Was struck with a little malaise today, didn't really want to do much of anything, so I thought "fuck it, today's the day I start to replace some of those 200+ compromised passwords Google keeps telling me about". God, this is arduous

Google's Password Manager likes to log you out at the drop of a hat, 20 seconds on another page "i guess you're done with me, byeee" My dude, i'm gonna be here all week if you don't pack that shit in.

Thankfully most of the sites I visit either a) no longer exist, or b) have reset my account because of the breaches elsewhere. Sometimes I think "okay, so you got my password for Sonic the hedgehog fanfic forum" maybe you can have that one. As a gift

Up to chapter 16 of Parable of the Sower and so utterly bummed out. A great companion to The Road, but I'm gonna have to get something cheerful to read after this. Damn
