i feel like im maybe pigeonholing myself a bit trying to write a decent horror halloween story but i just do not have any coherent ideas for a horror story at all. most of this stuff is just kinda meanderingly sad

i have been given my court mandated portland flannel. soon the paperwork will be finalized and i will be given my portland lobotomy, completing the procedure

so its totally not just me right. its not just my historic decade long bad luck w jobs, its not just indeed sucking, its like. uniquely especially bad to job hunt rn right. like its especially bad right

We set up the practical Ghost Planet in front of a black sheet with white Christmas lights for the stars for the epic battle. That’s my hand holding Space Ghost and Chip Duffey was Fidor. Chip also voiced Fidor for the episode. Pavement was a whackadoodle at we all wrote together.

i think its cool that the same guy made two popular divisive movies at the same time and released them together, and that they reflect and refract one another. i was skeptical on its face but they really are a compelling pair (primetime & ycse)

both movies abt American Media and the ways being a Media Figure, pursuing Media Narratives dissolves your self. movies about losing track of your self in pursuit of Higher Purpose, but also admitting that there is no Higher Purpose. its all just "self-service".

both movies are abt the implosion of the media ecosystem, the implosion of media. abt the camera as distortion device, and abt performance as a shield, as a weapon. one movie is abt how we got here, one is abt exactly where we are

i thought i waned on primetime a bit honestly but i am still chewing on things it did and its fun to think abt in conjunction w what him & nathan & co did w the other movie

would b awesome to have a specific intentional repeatable process but i kinda just dont and everytime its diffrent....

in the dark is some of the closest we can get to american denpa. i love how much of it is abt her just trying to play silemt hill 1

cryptic plasm, busted babies, in the dark, inland empire, thats like my diamond im standing in the middle humming and channeling rn

on one hand i dont wanna work closing dishpit at all again. not excited. but on the other hand, pay is good enough that i can probably tough it out for a month or two, if im not scheduled too much

con: long bus commute. late nights. will suck. bus doesnt run ultra late so im nervous pro: long bus commute. albums, writing, and daydreaming

had a dream they discovered a lost elvis space opera album, and they did a whole netflix show about it where they trapped me on a cruise ship. idk

so like, someone clarify for me... wb starts a special rerelease imprint just to put The Devils back in theatres, but then the wb merger went thru and they fired the ppl in charge of wb pictures. so like is this the first and last wb clockwork movie ?

like fr is this movie even going to get a blu ray at this rate lmao... it seems exactly like the thing ellison would send his inquisition after. the irony is very not lost on me
