People talk a lot about foot fetishists, but nobody talks about how artists are all sickos for hands. Anyone who draws the human form regularly goes absolutely wolf-howl sicko mode over a well drawn hand. It's like an entire body on it's own, artists are out here hubba-hubba-ing and awooga-ing

Migraines are especially sucky bc what do you mean I can’t do my art as a coping mechanism? And if I try, it’s not good art and makes the migraine worse?

I was talking with a friend about being a horse girl as a kid and this made me miss drawing horses lol So, I shall be sketching horses for the immediate future

My most recent beaded embroidery project :) It was inspired by an art nouveau pansy brooch I saw photos of in a museum.

Played around on procreate last night. I sometimes print out my mandalas on cards instead of hand drawing each one on a separate card.

“I had that dream again. The one where I could have sworn I felt the wind as it shifted off the water. The sun began to warm the distant slopes and light the tops of nearby trees. I had that dream again, where I felt completely free.” "Remnants: Tranquility" #Watercolor, #gouache, #coffee #dragons

Amongst the lilypads, the adventurer finds a mythical creature, taking a moments respite. He looks back at you over his shoulder. --- Finally done. Finally. I think worth the effort, the additional work with the wet skin and hair made a lot of difference. Hope you like him!

Bokeh and magnolia blossoms in watercolor have a magical sort of feeling. I wanted to capture strong, almost golden light dappled through foliage.

Calling it for tonight. Sometimes art is so compulsive and you can’t stop and next thing you know it’s 4:30am

I woke up last night at 2am and couldn’t sleep, so I organized my beads for hours. My carpal dinner syndrome hurts too badly to actually do art with the beads today now 😅
