Happy 20th birthday to Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs The Soulless Army. This is one of my favorite non-Persona entries in the Shin Megami Tensei series. I need to play the remaster soon.

Castlevania turns 40 years old today! The first game was released September 26th, 1986 for the Famicon Disk System.

Castle Wolfenstein was released for the Apple II in 1981 this month, making the Nazi-wrecking series 45 years old.

Titan Quest came out 20 years ago today. I put a lot of hours into this game. I know a few newer expansions came out since 2017, but I haven't played them -- I heard mixed reviews about the new expansions. The base game was a lot of fun though.

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon was released in North America for the Gameboy Advance 25 years ago today. I can't say it's one of my favorite games in the series, but it has its charms. The card magic system was interesting.

Dragon Quest was released for the Famicon on this day in 1986. It wouldn't see a US release until 1989. This version uses a password system to save progress. All characters, including the Hero, face forwards at all times -- directional sprites weren't added until the NES version.

I'm playing with a hardmode modded Community Center bundles mod. Every bundle is like this -- hundreds of iridium-quality items required for completion. It's a pretty interesting challenge, requiring the addition of other mods to help you consistently acquire iridium items.
