‘Coyote vs. Acme’ has officially surpassed ‘Supergirl’ ($126M) worldwide, making it the summer’s highest-grossing film produced by Warner Bros. But it’s distributor Ketchup Entertainment benefiting from its theatrical release.

Disney Animation’s ‘Hexed’ will feature a hand-drawn 2D prologue telling the story of how the Kingdom of Hexe became a refuge for witches and wizards persecuted in the real world. Tyler Pacana, one of the studio’s few remaining 2D animators, animated the sequence.

4 years ago today, Cartoon Network reassured fans that it was “not going anywhere.” Since then, the brand has lost its standalone website, Cartoon Network Studios has been folded into Warner Bros. Animation, and longtime president Sam Register is departing after 18 years.
