First test print of Gardens of Resistance postcard sets with custom packaging 🤓 coming to holiday markets in Dec 🎄 Didn't realize how much I missed designing foldable structures until I was messing with this. 🤓

This was my wind down after a day of design work and some sticker printing apprenticeship fun. I always start off a doodle book with something on the inside of the cover, so that it's immediately no longer perfect and blank and can therefore be filled with any garbage and still be perfect.

Thanks to a clear request for allyship, I found a new app that is actively anti-ai, supports creatives of every skill level, and is gorgeous encouragement to stay connected to making art daily. Go check out @doodl-app.bsky.social And find me on there with same username as here. 🤓

This thread is a study in one person offering feedback and/or information, and another taking that new information in and taking action. Truly wish everyone could read this.

The unbiased statement of problem, clear ask for correction, honest response, supportive reply, and respectful wrap up - it's like a breath of fresh air. No shame, no blame, no disrespect - just a simple request, asked and answered.

Went card shopping for my girlfriend's birthday a few days ago. Got surprised by my own work while browsing. 🤓 😂 I did know that I was walking into a shop that stocks some things I make, but somehow, it was still surprising in the best way.

Reminder/unpopular opinion : SEO is a keyword search. You can make it more complicated if you want to. Of course there are nuances. But functionally, you are making sure that your site has the words in it that people are likely to type in a search when they're looking for your business.
