Wren, I am
@techconnectify.bsky.social hello, I was advised to seek your opinion on this ceiling fan.
@phoenixfeet.bsky.social if Punwatch ever returns... (Is the Associated Press a known punmongerer?)
@lynneguist.bsky.social I'm curious if this use of "stolen to order" counts as an AmE/BrE difference? It's very odd phrasing to me and I was completely confused as to what it meant. On the other hand we can say "made to order" and I did correctly guess what they meant.

"I asked ChatGPT", "I asked Grok", well I asked a guy "hey mister can you tell me where a man might find a bed?" He just grinned and shook my hand, "no" was all he said.
"i asked chatgpt" yeah well i went to the doctor, i went to the mountains, i looked to the children, i drank from the fountains there's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line and the less I seek my source for some definitive closer I am to fine
@foldablehuman.bsky.social Dan would you consider providing a freely-licensed image that we could use for your Wikipedia page? The current one is...a little lacking. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folding...
@lynneguist.bsky.social Is using "alive" to mean "attentive" or "aware" a BrE-AmE difference? www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
@slowbeef.bsky.social Hey beef I remember a while back you talked about how the Church of Scientology would teach basic self-help tips as a way to lure people into the church. Like "if you are having trouble prioritizing tasks, pick one at random". Is there more I can read about that?
@lindsayellis.bsky.social Question, a couple times over fast few weeks YouTube has shown the "new videos" circle for your channel in my sidebar, but then I click through and nothing shows up. Do you know what's going on there?
You are up to date.
