Seriously, why does technology never work just right? Bought a new PC today. Got one with decent specs and enough room on the HD that it won't whine every 15 minutes that there's not enough space to update windows. It works great. EXCEPT one streaming service, regardless of browser - or even the

app from the windows store - is nothing but a big, black void. Same service works just fine on my phone and the old computer, so what the actual F is going on? How do I figure out what the problem is and fix it? *bangs head on desk*

The only twitch streamer I've felt comfortable giving my real-life money to subscribe to. It's a fun community!

On Sept 1, I was laid off from my job of over 19 years. I am trying to take a shot at full time streaming. If I can sustain 350 subs a month I can do it! If we can hit that goal before Nov 1 I will be attempting a 24 hour stream for WoWForever!

Intermittent Fasting served me well for over a year, then I hit a stall that has lasted about 8 months. I signed up for the Weight Loss Program Subscription through GoodRX last night for $39/mo. When Blizzard announced WoW Forever at Blizzcon this year, I went all-in and paid for beta access + sky elf access (it also came with Warcraft III, but that wasn't my cuppa). I had forgotten, but it also came with 3 friend codes. Those have been delivered to me and I have no one to give them to.

If you weren't sure if WoW Forever is your thing but want to check it out and don't have a current subscription to WoW, let me know. These codes allow a week of Forever access without a sub when the game launches.

Technology is stupid. I activated the free 3-month AT&T Hotspot that I get for buying a new car. My car says I need a data plan. AT&T says it's active. >_> I downloaded HondaLink so I could use its free features. Scanned the bar code to add it. Followed the steps to verify access. It fails. >_>

Proof nature hates new cars. Raining, asshole tree not done dumping leaves... 😭. Fun aside, we were picking leaves off the Malibu after we got to Fairbanks despite mom accidentally going 80 at one point (was v easy to speed in that car) because rain + leaves = découpage. 😒

Awww. Hubs bought a leaf blower! 😍 Maybe I'll keep him.

Home! (Have been here about an hour, but had to greet the husband, dog, and do some things and have only just sat down.) Paid $6.20 per gallon to fill my tank at Eureka Roadhouse between Glenallen and Sheep Mountain. Glad it doesn't take premium, 'cause that was $6.50 per gallon. Highway Robbery! 😂😭

On the road again!

6am-1:30pm for the Anchorage to Fairbanks trip. Abt 1.5 hours at the dealer. 30 minutes to eat (no food or drink in the new car!). Stopped in Glenallen for the night because my night vision is awful and it's still 3.5 hours from home doing the speed limit (not at night ty). Will continue on in am. 😁

Knowing I have to get up at 5am to shower and get on the road (Anchorage to Fairbanks is 6-8 hours depending on conditions and it'll probably be a day trip), I went to bed at 10. Finally got to sleep just before midnight. Woke up at 2:20 and couldn't get back to sleep. Stupid excitement brain. 😂🫩

YouTube is infuriating lately. This pops up on almost every video I click to watch. I click the X every time. WHY WON'T YOU REMEMBER I SAID I'M NOT INTERESTED, YOUTUBE!?

25 years ago today a doctor wanted to turn the tv on in my room so he could watch coverage of the twin towers. While I was in active labor. Struggling to birth my 2nd child VBAC style. On my [now late] father's birthday. 😒 Even my crap memory will provide the "where were you" for that tragedy.

We bought our Malibu on Oct 6, 2019. It had 11 miles on it. This was the odometer reading when I pulled into my driveway after picking up grandkiddo from school today.

Are there any smartphones that don't shove bloatware and AIEverything down your throats? Usually I'm limited to what AT&T sells due to needing the payment plans, but I may be in a unique position this winter to purchase an unlocked phone outright and would love to get away from this garbage.
