Since I found my lost notebook, I thought I should publish the new chapter so I don't ever have to worry about that again. So here's chapter 8 - The Tunnel. Or you can jump back to chapter 1 if you want - they're all free. I'm writing 9 now, and I still have no idea what's going to happen next...

Our school is having a Family Literacy Night after school today. Kids are dressing up as favorite characters (and one of the teachers is crushing her Dog Man costume), they're excited to get new books and bookmarks, and it's just pretty awesome all around.

Same as now but we were both younger then.

1) I'm on the board of the Ray Bradbury Center 2) I am co-editing a new anthology (with Carrie Cooper, Assistant Director of the Ray Bradbury Center and public humanities scholar).
