Vrai Kaiser 🧛‍♂️

Honestly I'm just a weirdo who likes body horror and cartoons.

Man, The Dark Tower really changed the course of Stephen King's body of work in the same way that Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle did for CLAMP, huh

NOBODY TOLD ME THAT M3GAN WAS A PORTAL AU ABOUT CHELL AND GLADOS COPARENTING

I’ll be honest: things haven’t stopped being desperate on my end. I have enough to pay my back rent but I’m already not going to be able to afford my next month’s rent due to my increasing sickness and having to use money for more expensive groceries and necessities since I don’t have an income.

btw this has options to sign if you don't make comics but are a fan or colleague of people who do! make number go up, support the union!

If you get a chance to attend a @mangamavericks.bsky.social panel you absolutely should! They gave a super candid talk about how they contact artists and the process of translating and printing their books (which focus on indies, LGBTQ+, classics, and shojo). If you like Discotek, it's your vibe!

Aimee is a reader who's fundraising for surgery and having a bit of a hard time getting eyes on her fundraiser and asked for help---please pass it along!! www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-...

Ngl y'all I'm probably crawling back down into the vampire mental health hole for a while after Otakon, but I love you and there are so, so many amazing people who love this art form so much. I love remembering that.

Oh, important side note that the discount is only through Otakon, so I think tonight is the end of when you can get it at this price!

I bought my copies! Be like me. I'm a cool guy.

Wanna shout out last night's Misogyny in Hentai panel at Otakon. Fantastic, lively presentation (from a first timer!), a focused talk on gendered sexual roles, genitals, & the relationship thereof EXCELLENT group discussion on the harm vs subversive draw of cuntboy/futanari work too.

Magical girl fans!!! Shojo fans generally!! Word at the AnimEigo panel was that the Looking for the Full Moon sales have been kind of weak, amd if that doesn't change they probably will have to backburner licensing magical girl titles. 40% off is a great time to help those numbers!!!

Currently my needs goal, including unexpected bills, disability aid needs, and meds is about $500. I’m at $42/500 after having to make an unexpected purchase today, and hopefully will be able to get to this emergency goal so I can continue to recover

It makes me really happy that three of the most popular recent titles for cosplayers (Witch Hat Atelier, The Apothecary Diaries, and Delicious in Dungeon) are all written by women

The AniFem Guide to Shojosei Series Coming Out in Summer 2026 With 11 series on this list, Summer 2026 might actually mark the highest raw number of shojo series premiering in one season since the site began! www.animefeminist.com/the-anifem-g...

Damn, is it summer anime time already?

Kiss Kiss Fall in Love with Otome Games!! I'm participating in @crystalgameworks.com's #OtomeGamesCelebration this week! I have an awesome line-up of games that I'll be streaming over on Twitch! See ya starting at 6PM ET MWF!!

Anime Feminist Recommendations of Winter 2026 Winter gifted us some amazing shojosei, including what’s already one of 2026’s best anime. www.animefeminist.com/anime-femini...

A moment of silence for all the women in 80s movies who were hired to stand between two men that desperately needed to bang it out

I haven’t been on here because work has continued to be extremely difficult, and now, my hours have been cut. My paychecks will be barely over $1000 every two weeks. I still need mutual aid, and I need it more than ever. Please share as much as you can.

Fucking me up that THE HANDMAIDEN is ten years old. Still one of my fave movies. It's got everything: con artists! queers! A dumbass heroine! a wounded femme trying to manipulate a situation that strangles her! Yearning! POV fuckery! Cinematography out the ass! Sexy bathtub scene! Peak cinema tbh

My partner: "people out there ship Carlton and DJ Jazzy Jeff, right?" READERS THEY DO NOT. THE INTERNET IS JUST LEAVING THESE OPPOSITES ON THE TABLE

hiiii if anyone has the ability to chip in for yu, they just got out of a very toxic and verbally abusive relationship wherein the partner held the reigns financially. in cutting them out they are struggling to find some financial stability. anything helps!!

If you're missing Journal With Witch, might I tentatively suggest another promising josei

If you ever find the last person alive claiming THE LOST BOYS isn't an extremely gay movie, it's so important that you laugh at him. Like a lot.

Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! – Episodes 1-2 A throwback gay rom-com in the vein of Rumiko Takahashi with an awkward, anxious lead and incredible direction by Pop Team Epic’s Aoi Umeki. www.animefeminist.com/go-for-it-na...

My paycheck was short because I was sick late last month and I am therefore short $300 to pay my rent. I appreciate every repost.

Independent anime media outlets generally do not earn enough money to survive on their own, because of a combination of: 1) Low ad revenues 2) Low subscriptions 3) Limited avenues to earn money due to industry consolidation There's a reason why the biggest indie pubs are run by folks with day jobs

......still thinking about it

I don’t want this to be all I talk about right now but my work situation is directly affecting my health and support continues to be requested, especially to help me stabilizing my housing. Please share if you can’t spare mutual aid through monetary means: it all helps.

My work situation continues to get more and more nightmarish in its cruelty. Mutual aid is welcomed right now since my job is actively trying to get me to quit so they can likely deny me any kind of compensation via unemployment. I’m in a really bad place and honestly…I can’t do this alone.

Instead of watching the terrible HP series, we suggest watching a new show coming out April 6th called Witch Hat Altelier! Synopsis: Coco’s dreams of casting magic may become a reality after she uncovers a secret and becomes an apprentice. Official website: tongari-anime.com/en/

Anne Rice made a few comments throughout her life that smacked of Gender but i've always felt uncomfortable giving her Honorary Community Status when those feels, at least in her published writing and what I've read of her diaries, never really got unpacked beyond a general disdainful misogyny
