Maybe let’s not make too much out of this loss and recognize that Tyler Huntley is a below average QB who has a rare good game that for some reason makes Ravens fans fall in love with him.

I hate that I'm watching Fox Weather to see Isaias updates. I wish The Weather Channel still broadcast live for free. One thing I've learned is that Fox News is now selling wine? Like what?

Just saw a Texas Vote Red down the Ticket commercial in Delaware while watching the Eagles. Seems like a waste of money by the GOP. They must be in full panic mode.

That would have been great timing to try out the Mark Andrews Tush Push we were doing in the past. Everyone knew Henry was getting that. Made it too easy on them.

This Ravens game is starting to feel like a John Harbaugh special. Come out on fire just to let your foot off the gas and let a much lesser opponent pull off a last minute victory.

Growing up there are a few moments in history that have stood out. Obviously the first memorable one for me was 9/11. I was 5 years old in 1st grade in Maryland. I was taken out of school and I watched the events of that day unfold at home. I remember seeing videos of people jumping from the WTC.

Now 14 years later, we’ve seen the Pulse Nightclub Massacre, the Las Vegas Music Festival Massacre, Parkland, Charlottesville, January 6th, and so many other acts of violence on tv. Sadly nowadays America has become almost desensitized to the senseless killings and wars we see on our tvs everyday.

Now as a father of two, I hope that my children will never have to witness these acts of violence on their screens or in their communities, but sadly it’s hard to picture any chance that we don’t see more of the same.

It was one of the first times that we watched live as thousands of people died. That was just the first of many horrific moments this century. I remember watching live the start of the Iraq War as the finale of Star Search was interrupted to show the first missiles flying.

Then in 2007, another horrific moment occurred as students at VT were gunned down in one of the deadliest shootings in modern America history at that time. Then just 5 years later we all had to witness the videos from Sandy Hook when elementary aged kids were murdered by a crazed man.

Those images became so ingrained in my brain that I drew images of the 9/11 attack with people jumping from buildings for a year after the attacks until one day the school talked to me about it. 9/11 was a day of collective trauma for America whether you were directly impacted or not.

The temperature at the New Castle County Airport (Wilmington, DE official record keeping station) is 98° as of the 10:50 am update. Wilmington is in play for its All-time Record High of 107°.

If Alito does in fact retire this week, no one should be celebrating. Someone worse will be nominated and it will be somebody young who can ruin the court for another 40 years.

Have we not had a deal about a dozen times already and then it immediately falls apart because the U.S. or Israel decides to drop a new bomb.

I am highly skeptical of this morning’s Axios report of an Iran deal agreement, but you’ll be unsurprised to learn that some Trump boosters are already touting it as a huge win for America

Just a reminder that America acts like we have no Kings, but in reality, we give lifetime power to partisan hacks who decides what is legal and what is illegal based on their own interpretations of law. It's a joke that Supreme Court Justices don't have term limits.

Quite a remarkable exchange between Justice Alito (concurring) and Justice Jackson (dissenting) respecting the Supreme Court’s decision to issue the judgment in the Louisiana redistricting case immediately: www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

My feed on FB has been taken over by conspiracy theories about boxes of ticks. The only positive from this is that tick diseases are being brought to the front of public discussion, so hopefully we can finally get vaccines and treatments for all these tick-borne diseases like Lyme and Alpha Gall.

Fetterman posting Republican talking points about the ballroom this morning. Is it 2028 yet, so that man can be kicked out of office for lying who he is to his voters?

This is already demonstrably incorrect. And Wright isn't even dead yet.

I feel like Donald Trump is the only president to make things worse doing a prime time address. Oil up over 10% today. $5/gallon gas prices here we come. The only positive is this self inflicted mess is going to cause problems for Rs in November.

So the Dow Jones is up 1,000 points due to “signs the Iran War may be winding down.” What signs? The signs where Trump says he may just end the war, but allow the Strait of Hormuz to remain closed which has the bigger impact on the global economy?

Time to stop holding back. The next car will be an EV, especially now that EVs are finally much more affordable. So done with a form of energy that can be so badly impacted by stupid decisions by a stupid man in the Oval Office. Clean energy is the only way to have energy independence.

Sign me up. Lyme disease and ticks are way too prevalent nowadays not to take it. Now if only they could get an Alpha Gall vaccine.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Four doses of an experimental vaccine to protect against Lyme disease reduced the number of tick-borne infections by more than 70 percent, according to Pfizer and Valneva. If successful, it could become the only Lyme disease vaccine available for people.

Trump sure knows how to lie to manipulate markets. Oil down 9%, just listening to this serial liar talk.

Q: Who is Steve Witkoff speaking with in Iran? TRUMP: A top person Q: Who is it? TRUMP: I can't. I don't them to be killed

So who to believe about the refueling plane crash that killed 4 U.S. service members? The Trump Administration, who lies repeatedly, that claims it just crashed or the Iranian-backed terror organization in Iraq who also routinely claims things they they weren’t responsible for.

This logic makes a ton of sense. It was baffling me why Iran would be attempting to pull other nations into this war.

Seth Abramson@sethabramson.bsky.social

There's no reason for Iran to attack NATO nation Turkey—but a drone did. Iran denies sending it. There's no reason for Iran to attack a UK base in Cyprus—but a drone did. Iran denies sending it. Now Azerbaijan has been attacked. Iran denies involvement. I think this is Israel.

The U.S. starts an illegal war and commits war crimes killing children while doing so.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

The U.S. military is “looking into” reports of a strike on a girls’ elementary school in Minab after Iran’s ambassador to the U.N. said more than 100 children were killed. Footage verified by the Post showed a frantic crowd outside the school.

I'll be voting for AOC in the Democratic primary for 2028, but I'll take Pritzker also. Anybody, but Gavin Newsome.

Love actually is all around – and those who think that cruelty can destroy it are incapable of understanding the power of a nation moved by it.

Tomorrow will be one month since the last time my yard was snow free. If these temperatures keep busting cold, I might continue this streak until next week, especially if the weekend storm materializes.

This shameful abdication—an economic, moral, and political failure—will harm Americans’ health, homes, and economic well-being. It ignores scientific fact and common-sense observations to serve big political donors.

We are presided by a man with mashed potatoes for brains.

Q: What do you tell Americans who are concerned that repealing the endangerment finding comes at a host to public health and the environment based on science? TRUMP: I tell them don't worry about it. This was all a scam. They'll have more money to spend for healthcare.

House Republicans are celebrating that they voted to disenfranchise millions of Americans, mostly married women. If this bill passes the Senate, married women will now have to pay a tax to vote (the cost for a passport).
