if you hear two letters and become outraged, there is a narrative that controls you.

I still like it here. I’m just going to have to accept that people are not going to get it.

I caved and got the Orange FM1 and will trade it immediately for a white and brown one which I missed out on :(

Your kids are going to look through them old “fuck them kids” tweets and shake their heads.

I’m actually bursting at the seams and I’m very disturbed by the types of discourse going on. I feel like critical parts of human and economic development are being glossed over I have some responsibility to map things out it feels, but I’m going to try to make it single and research backed.

The worst thing that we did is turn knowledge into work instead of something else, I know people might not like that take.

The problem is knowledge work is inherent and memory dependent, yes, the recording of empirical knowledge is critical but because it becomes a capital extraction point.

I need to make a concise and concrete framework for the things I am saying, I hope to at least make someone think and have nuance and development.

Capitalistic hyperscaling is what most people are calling AI and you know what, I hate that too.

Twitter/X is always going to feel like you’re 1000000 steps behind because they want you to buy their AI…

I don't trust any system that depends on a person to be tired to extract from them or train them.

few people understand the frustration that comes with good design, and fewer people understand it as time passes, people who make artifacts are different than those that make content.

And you can be both, and your content can become artifacts. So much nuance. So much complexity.

The goal is tactility, not legalese, methods of interacting that do not have accessibility issues or translation layers that allow for human communication across different types of thought and activity levels.

Shrink and compress the data centers, use excess heat to heat homes in winter, rely on thing other than water. The problem is the capitalization of tech.

Bill Gates is shifting to antiAI and that makes me want to be extremely pro-AI…a man that wanted you to have CoPilot (GPT4 fork) in all of your operations and wanted most your stuff on the cloud is scared of the possibility of AI, something smells beneficial for then people here.
