I spoke to a few folks on the streets in Vancouver about their thoughts of the Granville pedestrianized street post World Cup and quite a few said it’s been dead and not as busy. That street is not going to be as busy as the World Cup was now but I thought it was still awesome!

We can learn a lot from our neighbors up north in Vancouver BC on how to maximize urban vitality on waterfronts! I’d love to see lake Washington blvd look more like this in the future @transportation.seattle.gov @mayor.seattle.gov

Having reverse culture shock and/or general frustration of biking in Seattle again after being in Copenhagen for a week.

Just finished a 3.5 hour bike tour around Copenhagen and I have thoughts. Still very good bicycle infrastructure especially compared to North American standards however the Dutch really take so much more space away from cars!

Time to get lost in copenhagen!
