"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Medgar Evers was murdered in his own driveway in 1963. On this day in 1994, Byron de la Beckwith was convicted of that murder. #holdon #resistrestrepeat

“LET US OUT!” women & children scream for help inside a detention camp in TEXAS, where private prisons like core civic make billions of taxpayer dollars holding them while abusing, neglecting them, refusing them health care, feeding them dirty food & water, etc. In our name🇺🇸

Abolish ICE is not enough. Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough. We need prosecutions and trials. Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.

It’s been 38 days since the Epstein files were supposed to be released but weren’t.

Find video at Drop Site News, AP Video, and countless news sites. He never had a gun in hand. He had a concealed carry license. At no time does he 'aggressively resist' - there were about 8 agents, pinning him down & beating him. THEY secured his gun, and shot him point blank. #ICEout #Fascismkills

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

Pew Research Institute (2023): • Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants • Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants • Blue State Minnesota has 130,000. And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration." It's *not* about immigration.

You have an accent too! Accent alone is NOT a basis for detaining someone.

This ICE agent and the man he’s accusing of not being a US citizen have the same damn accent. If this were a movie, this scene would be on the cutting room floor.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

In the history of the federal government, it's been shut down exactly 97 days. All of those days have occurred since 1980, and MORE THAN HALF happened on MAGAT's watch ... and counting ...

A Rave apple next to an average Mac. It's huge. Rave was developed by the same apple breeder who developed Honeycrisp and SweeTango varieties at the University of Minnesota. It's a Honeycrisp x Monark cross. Crisp & sweet with a bit of a bite. Not a baker. But it looks like a whole meal ...

Both purchased at Chazy Orchards, a venerable operation north of Plattsburgh. The first person to plant an orchard here in the 1760s was Jack La Framboise, who was born up the Lake at Fort St Frederic in 1751. Displaced by revolutionary tensions, he joined up with the Americans.

After the War, he got his own land back as bounty, through sheer force of will, and the Laframboises became one of the earliest Franco American families on the northern Lake, returning to lands that were French just two decades previously.

This didn't occur on September 9th, so no conspiracy, but he did say this, repeatedly. And then the day he died, Congress quickly voted to table the resolution to release the files while every news agency was screaming nonstop about his assassination. #releasetheepsteinfiles #releasethefiles

Even more curious than these? "Green" Vermonters! 😂

More than 14,000 Acadians lived in North America when the British expelled them. More than 11,000 were deported, of whom 5,000 died of disease, starvation or shipwrecks. Well less than 3,000 survived in Acadia (2600 in the 1764 census). Our ancestors settled in L'Acadie, Quebec. #AcadianDay2025
