Zeratanus

Howdy! I'm Zera. I don't post much but I do comics and pixels and sometimes fanart (rarely of anything relevant but hey). I don't know how to talk about myself either so uh...!

Its so weird. I get people love Mass Effect, but like, love the people who made it? You're going to raise hell over a... pitch video? And you want someone who had nothing to do with that to make it? Ya'll, the games you love were like that cuz of who made them, not cuz the IP was inherently magic

what is the earliest console game that lets you pick non-binary and please tell me it's not fucking austin powers for game boy color of all things

I've been doing runs offline, guess I should do some on stream twitch.tv/eodtex

The Government™ has made an ad about all these protests happening around the world, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative.

New main image up on the site, since my old avatar was years old now, but now that i have it uploaded I don't think I'm too keen on it, especially not at the smaller Bsky crop size, so might change it here shortly. Either way, think I'm done messing with website stuff for now zeratanus.com

your never going to guess who has two insurance policies on their house because their insurance agent forgot (?) to cancel the first one when I changed, despite stating directly that they would handle that part...

Prompt 32: Hero Does anyone else do anything in Hyrule?

Changes home insurance to something that should save us around $100/mo a few months ago Find out today that my monthly payments have INCREASED over $60 over what it used to be anyway This shit is so stupid.

Dinky little website has gotten a visual upgrade as I slowly force myself to relearn CSS after more than a decade. Need to draw a new avatar image for it sometime, but this will probably be as far as it goes until I decide to actually start hosting some art there.

The demo for Type Me Home, my new typing game/platformer hybrid, Is out now for Steam Next Fest! store.steampowered.com/app/4772200/... Type in commands to help a little lizard home!

Wee, now i have a dinky little site up on neocities zeratanus.neocities.org all it does is link to my bsky and tumblr for now. Mostly I just want a hub for all the places you can find me before they shrivel and die one by one. I'll change zeratanus.com to go there instead of bsky later

Getting a random hair up my ass that I should remake this old comic. It's a fairly short one-shot story that nobody read and nowadays I feel like both the opening and ending are really flawed and have ideas on how to rework it while still keeping the middle basically the same.

Water tiles dusted. 👊 (+ many other revisions not pictured) Here's a peak at some of the new river & coast tiles. Had big momentum loss with an apartment-move followed by other happenings, and took some mega willpower to resume these water tiles which had been a big pain. Moving on!

I could feel my back on the verge of being A Problem after doing lots of yard work. Have a large appliance to fix, but put it off so as not to strain my back. Toilets also been making noises. Twist water pump to lower the water level. Water starts spraying everywhere... toilets fixed. back hurts...

Happy Spooky Month! This go around I lost a lot of steam and was struggling to actually finish (I hate drawing backgrounds ngl). Can you tell I've been getting into Metroid lately? 😂

I just love this... Love the song... Love the animation... Love the copious amounts of anesthesia that had to be used...

I... wh... huhh??? Programming is hard, so instead of learning how to do our job, we let the plagiarism machine do it. Give us your credit card. We promise its safe! Yes, we have admitted our incompetence but you can trust us! We told the machine pretty please dont leak credit card data so its fine!

Some snippets that are a work in progress. Text will come later. I said before I didn’t know how much I’d show off while it was being worked on, and I meant it. But I figured people might want to see that I am in fact still here- so enjoy these sans context! #art #bskyart #comic #artist #fantasy

They're going to kill us all to build a beach resort.

More Pepperbee project shit~ I love this guy, very happy with the animations. Here is a test of this boss' "weak state". He otherwise blocks you. #pepperbee

lol, well i did the math and its actually purely cheaper now for me to just buy a new license anyway, because you have to upgrade through each version, 1>2>3>4>5, with no path to just do 1>5, and so the upgrade path is now $10 more than a new license. What a dumb business model.

Machinarium 2 announced so I make fan art thats the deal 🤝 #b3d #Blender3d #gamedev

Every year I try to draw something for my spouse to mark the anniversary of our wedding~ that I've had to also add a new cat two years in a row was not something I expected lol. Printed out and hanging on our wall. I don't see my art off the screen enough. Its a good feeling~

Me: "What happens if I end this contract early?" Salesman: "You can cancel this at any time, risk free" [Reads contract] [Risk] Man I'm not even against buying what you're selling but now you've lied to my face and now I'm saying no on principle.

5 years on with this stupid upgrade model and i think they've FINALLY accumulated enough features i'll actually use to consider purchasing a new EX license (keeping my v1 license). Does anyone know if they ever removed the stealth online check in they added in v2 but never advertised?

Oh!! The first game was such a wonderful point and click, and the OST was fantastic! Looking forward to this

I don't know who came up with this meme, but when I found out what demisexuality is, it turned everything upside down

Hopefully I can pick Visit the Epigone back up sometime soon. For a while now i've been going through a lot of bad times with relationships and the realization that a startling % of friendships I've had have been unhealthy, and it's made working on a comic about friends tough. Getting better tho.

That I have only heard of the terf wizard bullshit trend through posts complaining about it and not one singular piece of art devoted to it either on here or Tumblr makes feel very accomplished in curating my online experience. Props to everyone I follow for not participating in the BS.

Know a lot of you have suggested quality-of-life updates to Owlboy over the years. So for the 10th anniversary, we're taking another look at our decade old code, one more time Even (or maybe especially) if you've played Owlboy, definitely read the Steam update link for this one

and here's Pepperbee being knocked on the ass #pepperbee

I only played Dark Souls 2 once long ago, so playing it again now I am discovering that it is a lot more unforgiving than I remembered re: hairlines.

DO NOT SEEK THE TREASURE One of my favorite scenes from O Brother Where Art Thou. I figured I should try to draw all 3 of the Soggy bottom boys, why not. #art #comic
