Elta: Defy All Gods - Demo came out recently! To celebrate I drew Victus and Elta, designed by @rj-palmer.com. I've had the pleasure of animating these two for 2+years but surprisingly this is my first time drawing them outside of cutscene animatic work. Thanks for checking out the game!!

Pocket's callouts seem pretty standard and then there's this unique dialogue for the enemy Shiv - its killing me 😇🎉 other fav is when Shiv is on their team they'll just say "I like that guy!"

Give me 24 hours and Unreal Engine 5 Documentation and I'll either invent animation blueprint mpreg or I'll reinvent the wheel 4 times trying to play an additive animation.

I used to joke about how I wish I could just turn my brain off and stop worrying about everything and just become a mindless worker drone and I have discovered that making my job my entire life actually kind of sucks and I wish I had a healthy work-life balance

Went to my first gamedev meet since 2019 last night. I'm still hopelessly useless in social situations with that many people, I spent most of the time panicking on my phone afraid of being spoken to, and three of four people who started a conversation with me were talking about their use of AI

I'm glad I went but, I really wanted to go and finally talk to other UK gamedevs after years of being so detached from the scene, but I unfortunately still struggle to initiate conversations/walk into groups and try to join in

Was I always like this? Is that just me getting more and more isolated in recent years? I managed to do it at the end and it went well and I'm glad, and any time someone did start a conversation and it wasn't about AI I did really well being social but besides that, it was rough
