I make bad games.

I have grown 15% since my last release and I haven't hired anyone which reminds me it's time to restart my gym membership.

Whenever I hear of a studio that has “grown 50%” since their last successful release, I get worried. So many companies grow way too fast. On the other hand you see small teams staying small, and doing great work for decades. A successful game can keep you afloat for ages if you stay small.

This is an official screenshot for a game from an AAA studio that is coming out November 2026.

The video advertising Unity's ew AI-driven autocomplete game maker has 'Mari' who has a game idea they "always wanted to make" and that idea is "Space Corridor" and it looks like this, and that's the strongest argument I can think of for keeping game dev out of the pro-AI crowd's hands.

Correct me if I’m wrong but is this just using ISS for an ad? Are we gonna get ads in space now?

To commemorate the collaboration between Pokémon and the ESA, a special Pikachu plush was sent to the International Space Station from April 11th through June 17th What a picture. Absolutely stunning

My friend made a cool game on a game jam and within a month a slopclone of it is on Steam. This is happening every day for indie devs and I hate it.

Another such case. Every day, an indie game developer making something cool and sharing is getting ripped off by these clowns. Original on the left. Don’t share your game - no sales Share your game - gets stolen

I think the solution is quite simple: If you never use AI to create anything you will never have to prove that this one work contains no AI. It has no AI because YOU made it! Simply never use AI. Maintain integrity Cross that line once, however, and you will be burdened forever, and rightfully so

it is nearly impossible for new artists, animators, or programmers to share their work without a swath of people accusing it of being AI. the only way to avoid that is to have proof that your project existed before gen AI. i think this ignorance ultimately helps normalize AI more than anything.

If you’re not getting a % cut of the game’s sales, never agree to crunch a single minute. It just doesn’t make sense to work in your free time for some else’s profit. And anyone who tells you otherwise is a slave-driver.

I've had this taking pictures of models, but the most extreme was Jaheira. I painted lots of wrinkles on her face and no matter what settings I used, my phone camera smoothed them out. This is the best photo I got, but it's still nowhere near accurate to real life.

Are you tired of having to double take everything you see online because it might be fake AI slop? Get ready to double take your own photos because they may be fake AI slop.
