This has truly fucked me up. Eric Bauza somehow had both a huge impact and yet still felt he was just getting started. Not just a fantastic voice actor but a campaigner for animation. His voice was the rallying cry for Coyote Vs Acme, which became the highest grossing WB film of 2026. Fuck.

Eric Bauza died at his home yesterday from hypertensive cardiovascular disease, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records.

everyone else deserves infinite support and care and love for everything they go through and as much time as they need to heal from whatever they are suffering from. me? nah i'm gonna just ride this out. it's Fine. i'm like. faking it or whatever.

In retrospect, "animated series based on live action movies" was a load bearing sub-genre of cartoons. Even if they weren't good, studios greenlighting 52 episode show orders of stuff like this meant a healthier industry.

Uhh before this gets any bigger when I say "Even the ones that weren't good" I mean like Police Squad and Bill & Ted. I specifically chose good examples in an advancing timeline.

Well, now that I'm looking. Sonic 06 on the Xbox 360 outsold such classics as: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Devil May Cry 4 Kinect: Star Wars Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Michael Jackson: The Experience Mirror's Edge Your Shape: Fitness Evolved There's a lot to absorb. All of these outsold DNF.

Really good rundown on how AI is funded/propped up and the sheer amount of debt its generating.

I cannot imagine a bigger Op than the biggest song no one has ever heard being about the allure of Texas by someone named Langley.

Supposedly the most enduring popular song of all time and Rolling Stone has to browbeat you into listening to it? Ella Langley is out here playing plumbers and mechanics. www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

I had never seen this Game Boy model that came on an action figure card backing, it makes me happy to look at. Man, remember consumer electronics?

Now that Konami has successfully gotten NEW Silent Hill off the ground and Castlevania is looking solid, I wonder if a fully post-Kojima Metal Gear is in the cards. I'd love to see a more constrained MGS1 type of game.

There's been a trend for trans fem Spider-Man on twitter for a bit and now I'm seeing a Banner/Hulk version of that concept and I'm sure its well meaning but c'mon. Think for just a second about doing this for the character famous for having a brutish rage monster under their skin.

Zelnick is famously not very good at estimating time frames. Its also crazy to say this when we have game streaming *right now* and its tremendously unpopular. I cannot imagine these dorks figuring out how to make it likeable in the near future.

Doing quests in Simpsons Fortnite. I stumbled across an Iron Spider hiding in a cabin at Camp Krusty, trying to heal up. I lined up my shot through a hole in the wall. He burst like a pinata. Earlier, we had danced together in the lobby. All I could say was "I'm sorry, Spider-Man" as I ran away.

That was the first MCU Spider-Man that mostly understood it was a Spider-Man movie. Only took 'em 4 tries. On a completely unrelated note, I also think Control is a very cool video game.

My knowledge of, like, 150 or so issues of Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel comics has made "The Marvels" a truly miserable viewing experience. The only highlights are the moments with Kamala's family and the actors themselves. They all deserve better.

In retrospect, we really should be thanking Comrade Spencer for doing his best to bring down Microsoft from the inside. He's made a bigger dent than the US government ever did.

New: Behind Xbox's big reset was a failed Game Pass strategy. Xbox spent nearly $80b in deals for content that it hoped would grow the subscription service. Instead, Game Pass lost subscribers. Deep dive: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

I'm not used to liking something a normal amount. TADC was very well done and I liked it. A satisfying experience that gets stronger every episode, but not something that has shaken me to the core like it has for others.

While I'm talking about cool shit that would never happen, I wish we got a GTA that actually looked like the Vice City box art with some Hiroshi Nagai influence.

They really should have made a Bully 2 that was a riff on Mean Girls, Heathers, and Jawbreaker.

Are you sure about those first two?
