Being a part of recent fandoms has reinforced a lot of my dislike for theory culture. Theories on their own are fine - it’s natural and fun to have them! But when people get too attached to their preconceptions over the story actually being told, attitudes get SUPER toxic.

i'll say it. i don't think the TADC fandom, or almost any fandom, is inherently bad or good. i think a fandom, just like humanity itself, is a mixed bag. you have your spiteful and malicious idiots, and you have folks who genuinely wanna appreciate art and find community in it.

i don't care what the people who saw the leaks say about the finale. i'm gonna go see it in theaters to support Goose and the crew AND to spite these bozos! maybe i'll even see it twice! or three times! and no matter how it ends, i'm gonna have a DAMN good time! and will continue to love TADC!
