This is all the Russians have been able to take in almost a year, at the cost of about 1500 men A DAY. You heard that right, 1500 PER DAY

A friend while adopting a child from Russia years ago, asked, “What happens to the kids that aren’t adopted?” And the adoption agency worker replied, “The girls usually end up as prostitutes and the boys end up in the armed services.” These soldiers don’t have parents/families. They don’t matter.

I said this in another comment but I think it’s important so: It’s important to distinguish these are combat casualties and not KIA. A vast majority of these soldiers return to combat. Most people have never been told the distinction from day 1 and it’s created some unrealistic perspectives.

I don’t know why they constantly get repeated. You’ve had the same sources reciting the same idea that Russia will be out of people, and munitions in six months. Optimistic narratives don’t change the outcomes of war.

We likely won’t know for a very long time. What we can be assured is that it is brutally devastating on each side. I can’t speak on a Russia specifically, but I know a few people who fought in one of the Ukrainian foreign brigades, and many of them only know a few Ukrainians still in the fight.

He said he wants everyone to sit up to attention like Kim’s followers in NK. Later stated it was a joke/sarcasm when realised it was recorded. It was not. He was serious in voice and in asking how it can be done. The man has studied mein kamph since his 20s. Loves dictatorship. #Vile #kingtrump

I say keep sending arms and rockets and ammunition to the Ukrainians until there are no Russian soldiers left. Of course Ukraine will pay a terrible price but at the end with NATO protection they will be in a position to recapture their territory.

Putin is a 💩 human being, but he's obsessed with power & appearances... I don't think the old guy trying to look like a strong man on horseback topless wants to be the ruler of a radioactive ash heap in a glass bowl. 🤷‍♀️ They may as well not have them even if they do, really.

Wellll... I mean, we know they haaaave them. The real question is, will they blow themselves up like they did with that test fire a few months ago? How much of their own territory would they be comfortable making a glassbowl? 🤔 In this case, corruption really could kill them all.

That’s pretty fucken feeble! 2nd army in the world? Russia has the 2nd best army in Ukraine. An oldie but a goody. Fuck the Z army. Slava Ukraini.

This is why I'm not worried about Russia's impact on Europe or America. They can barely do anything against Ukraine + getting help from North Korea after 4 years of grinding their own forces down to the nub. If they decided to test NATO Article 5, it would cause the collapse of Russia.

AdamK - I am not sure what to take from your post. I think the correct thought is that, with proper backing from the West, Ukraine is a formidable fighter. Might be easy to see the wrong message, that Russia is likely to lose as it runs out of resources. I don't think this is likely, do you?

It's time to give Ukraine all the armaments and assistance needed to push Russia from the occupied territories of Ukraine. And, yes, that means a SIZABLE NATO coalition. This is literally what the Charter is intended for.

Trump will stop supporting Ukraine because he cowers to Putin! Even though anyone with half a brain (so not MAGATS) knows Putin needs to be stopped! MAGATS get there daily info from Russian memes and paid for by Russia Podcasters!

1500, that's nothing to Russia. It will only become 'something' to Russia when it's conscripted Muscovites dying in great numbers, and even then, it won't be the sons of the rich and powerful (they live in the West 😁). Can Ukraine sustain 1500 a day ? And that presumes they aren't losing more.

True, but Ukraine is also attacking and counter attacking. Perhaps being more accustomed to ww1 stats gives me a very twisted view of these casualty figures. I wonder what the 'wastage' rate is. That is, the daily, non combat, casualties due to shell fire, drones, snipers etc.

Uhhh you are not a woman... dressing and acting like one doesn't make you one... you do not offer the gift of life or menstruation that God gave life's most important creation... the woman.

Rest assured, NATO countries are stepping up support. They understand Trump will not. Thankfully Trump embarrassed them into contributing more of their GDP to defense & they have been. Trump loves attention so it’ll be interesting to see if he ends up helping Ukraine to look like a hero

Having the war is the point. Winning is not. Why didn’t Putin invade Ukraine under Trump, during COVID. He would have rolled the place. When Joe Biden started motivating the G7 to accelerate solutions to Global Warming, THEN Putin moved on Ukraine. #GlobalDisruptor

With 750K Dead or severely injured, 1M having fled, and let's assume 500K on the battlefield, Russia's already declining population must have taken a big hit over 3 years, especially in the key 0-5 band of their population pyramid. Putin desperately needs his agent Trump to stop the war ASAP

Putin's Plan is simple. Trump's peace deal gives everything to Putin, Putin *begrudgingly* says yes but Zelensky says no, Trump declares that his boss Putin is a man of peace, Zelensky wants WWIII, so he stops weapons to Ukraine and lifts sanctions on Russia. Lifting sanctions is the key to Putin

Russia/Putin shouldn't be attacking them, they're a sovereign nation and have fought to be that way. My whole life Ukraine has been its own country, it should stay that way. Putin needs stopped and Kim Jong-Un does too. Those are the countries that need liberated from dictators.

If we are not going to use the intelligence we have gathered about Trump's compromised relationship with Putin right now to defend our nation, when are we going to use it? Never? Make Biden #DeclassifyTrump, so we can force the Congress to #ImpeachTrumpNow. www.dailykos.com/stories/2024...

It appears that Putin has wiped out (or will) an entire generation of men. Rumors are that he is drafting 14 year old Russian boys. North Korea is there because he had no bodies left to send.

What is 1500 compared to Trump's COVID victims of more than 2,800 Americans a day for over a year? That for the history books.

We need to let Ukraine join NATO then kick Russia back to not trying to get the Soviet Union back. Stalin killed many Ukrainian people as well as many Russian citizens. Putin need's to stay in his lane and help his people do better.

Assume that figure is dead plus wounded? Estimated losses since 2022 are about 120,000 killed (Mediazona/BBC) as many as 700,000 wounded (Economist from U.S. DoD). About 1000 days, so that’s 120 killed & 700 wounded daily. Which has increased a lot in recent months. Maybe 50,000 deaths last 12 mths

For comparison purposes, the United States lost approximately 50,000 lives in about 10-20 years of involvement in Vietnam, depending upon how you define it. That level of loss became politically unacceptable. In other words, Russia is losing approximately a Vietnam worth of lives every 33 days.

It is worth remembering that the same quote fits well with the Genocide taking place in Gaza and western concern for the lives of the Palestinians, they're only numbers. We also should not forget how many hundreds of thousands of a much small pool of Ukrainian lives have also been lost.

How does it feel to see the party or Ronald Reagan, who called Russia the "Evil Empire" literally EMBRACE Putin? Tulsi Gabbard was described as "my girlfriend" on Russian state TV! I am proud of the Ukrainians since my family emigrated from there 100 years ago! Does the just GOP LOVE dictators?

Ridiculous clown party. Hope the Russian dogs keep falling to Ukrainian guns! Putin is a cowardly butcher. Death can’t come for that misery fast enough. I hope I can stick around long enough to see the demise of the dictators Putin and Trump!

I suspect many MAGA voters just want to preserve their fossil-fuelled way of life at all costs, and see the Russian petrostate as a potential ally against the environmentalists bent on destroying that way of life.

1500 Russians a day for a year is 36.5% of the active personnel in the entire Rusian Army dead. Ridiculous number. And all the people here just taking it at face value. Morons. I detest the Russian army but why lie about the numbers. Facts are dead it seems.

There are some things that should happen. All elections should be decided by the popular vote All elections should be subject to scrutiny not only of the vote but of the campaign and funding The outcome of every election should be respected All of the above are co-equal.

agreed. with russian bomb threats, the reps refusing to pass the safe act for election security and election systems being compromised in past elections (not to mention everything else), the dems should have sought recounts in swing states. it’s unforgivable they didn’t!

The meetings Trump had with Netanyahu and conversations with Putin are against the law. He cheated in this election. What makes everyone think the cheater didn't cheat? You think he found God? 😅

Sure hope it was worth it, Putin 😼 . Beyond the propoganda and control, many Russians see beyond Putin's everything. 🙏 ing that this continual reality and loss of THEIR brethren, for a war they never asked for, will lead to an underground uprising that will finally dethrone him & his cronies.

I wish prayers did anything, because I would pray for Ukraine in this next year. We need to be preparing them and sending them everything we can until January. The inevitable roadblock in their defense.
