My nephew was appointed to the AF academy. He’s now a Major. He’s flown tons of missions around the world. Nominating youngsters to our academies is one of the best things any member of Congress does.

My son almost went to Airforce Academy. He was nominated by Amy Klobuchar and Keith Ellingson…..Al Franken didn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️. Didn’t get in but is in medical school instead. Worked out fine 😀
