... and to ask people who previously supported Trump to help us stand up now for the impeachment and removal of that terrible man so that we rid ourselves of him sooner, rather than later. The survival of our nation as a constitutional republic depends in no small part on such grace.
The fact that Trump cast a **mail-in ballot** in the election that was just won by a Florida Democrat, an election in which he publicly backed the Republican, an election in Mar-a-Lago’s district, is what I like to call a real hoot.
CNN: Can you at least acknowledge the stories are different- what Tulsi Gabbard said and what Trump said? Can you at least agree there's a discrepancy?
HARIDOPOLOS: This is the first I've heard of this story. I don't follow this as close as CNN does. Let's move on to issues people really care about
Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"
🩸🩸🩸 I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget what the 34x POS convicted felon who incites political violence, adjudicated rapist & pedophile Trump did
THIS IS WHAT AN INSURRECTION LOOKS LIKE
Bash: Was it about trying to make a an example out of somebody who the president has sparred with?
Blanche: I don't even know that the president's even ever thought of Don Lemon.
Bash: He called him a sleazebag yesterday.
Look at this little pretty one…
Saw this beautiful red-shouldered hawk perched in the parking lot of a Barnes & Noble.
I love being back to carrying my camera with me when I leave the house.
Hell, I love being back to leaving the house.
2026: more birds, more pictures, more life.
Since I am on an owl kick at the moment, found this picture I took a couple years ago in one of my luckiest birding outings ever.
A short-eared owl in the winter dusk.
How beautiful are these birds? Just striking.
Weekly tradition time: finding some joy no matter how small, no matter how hard.
Tell me something good.
What good thing happened in your life this week?
Found your calling or found a dollar in the dryer, both work. Just something good.
“Over the course of a lifetime, we face only a few moments where the decisions we make and the actions we take will shape our history for years to come. This is one of them. If we give our freedoms away after 250 years, we might never get them back.” — President Bill Clinton, 1/25/26
This is my first effort to make sense of the tragic killing this weekend and how it fits into the overall picture. I will offer my take on what this means Trump is planning for the midterms tomorrow. Subscribe now to receive straight to your inbox. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0
Authoritarianism prevails not because people stop believing the truth, but because they stop saying it aloud. If we wish to remain free, we must refuse that silence. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/lies...
"This is a criminal president and a criminal administration. This is straight-out fascism. This is about ending democracy. These people are destroying the Constitution. And if we say it in words that are any less blunt, we are not telling the truth."

I’m running for Congress in NY-12, my home.
We have a demented, criminal president running the country like a mob operation—government by the boss, for the boss.
We need Democratic fighters who will defend the rule of law and deliver government by the people. Join us.
Incredible.
Right wing influencers spent a whole day trying to convince everyone this was a good shoot.
Meanwhile, Trump won’t say he supports it, and ICE sources are telling Fox News that it’s a bad shoot and the admin’s (Miller, Noem, Vance) messaging isn’t helping.
Memory is a fragile thing in this moment, so it is important to keep in mind that Hakeem Jeffries refused to whip his caucus against ICE funding earlier this week.
Crista, when a major party abandons its oath...the Constitution doesn’t suddenly fail...but...enforcement weakens.
Article II, Section 4 exists for exactly this kind of abuse...but...it only works...if leaders have the courage to USE it. When they don’t...the burden shifts to public resolve.
Is this coming from Tucker Carlson?
Tucker was at the WH today and he’s been talking about this for a while.
Trump’s “America First” base will love this but it does have unintended consequences.
Including driving borrowers to worse subprime channels.
And obviously this will require Congress.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but this analogy of “Lady Liberty’ held captive, is exactly how I feel about this presidency & administration and what their attempting to do with our rights and freedoms…
The New Yorker captured the feelings perfectly…
One word, UNACCEPTABLE!
I’m officially running to be the Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee.
These are not normal times—and this cannot be a business-as-usual moment.
