I think what Adam is saying is that they should vote for the budget bill so the government doesn’t shut down and that is just the opposite of what they should do. If they vote for the bill and they cut Medicaid folders will blame the Democrats and so will Trump Trump will say see they supported it.

It’s already partially shut down already with all the firing and removal of critical staff. Let the republicans shut it down. Democrats need to stand firm and fight for the people as the republicans obviously are not.

Best thing the Dems can do is allow the GOP to shut down the government. The Dems are not responsible for the GOP's unwillingness to bargain in good faith on a budget or even proposing one that their own members would vote for.
