Trump will pardon himself, his family, his entire cabinet and then some. It will be a historic number of pardons, especially within an administration. It will need to be state level holding them accountable for their crimes.

I don't think it should be free and I think it should have to be paid for out of the money that they get from the government and if they choose attack ads that's fine but they only get a set amount of money and when it's gone it's gone.

And political ads cannot run more than 1 month prior to the relevant election date. That is plenty of time for people to research and form an opinion.

While I agree with the ideas here, maybe point out that it’s actually Congress that needs too do these and an unbiased DOJ that should be enforcing the law. If I remember civics correctly, the President can only bully pulpit these and sign laws that are passed. EO’s are the current problems.

We need to do our best to run out the clock on Trump while limiting damage. If we can elect a Democratic President in 2028 we can try to create a managed constitutional crisis with a goal of negotiating a new governing compact.
