This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

The incredibly galling thing about this whole Blanche-Maxwell thing is just how transparently corrupt it was. Maxwell letting Blanche know she's got the goods on Trump, Blanche cutting her off, Blanche then claiming that Maxwell "exonerated" Trump ("never observed inappropriate behavior"), then /1

Blanche buying her silence by moving her to minimum security camp cupcake prison. How dumb do they think we are? Or they just don't care how obvious it is, they know they won't be held accountable? /2

I mean, look at the endless list of shit trump and his goons have already gotten away with and ask, if you were him, would YOU be worried about someone with power finally standing up to you?

The reason Maxwell kept bringing up "Jane" was to make sure Blanche knows - I got the goods, you better treat me really really well, which is what he did. 🤦🏼‍♂️ The corruption is just off the charts.

well, when you own the editors, you can pretty much ensure what gets in front of the public and those guys have their own marching orders from management. When you set the narrative you turn Little Red Riding Hood from heroine to villain and the poor wolf is now simply being provoked

This report has a lot more information than that one less-than-credible accusations against Trump. If people read (I know, it's an impossible ask), you'll see there are three more I would deem extremely well-evidenced and credible.

Even setting aside the two accusers whose stories are shakier, we have three strong and credible direct accusations. Then we have three more young women who have evidence of Trump participating in Epstein's trafficking ring.

Is it because the strongest allegations come from women who were technically adults at the time of the alleged assaults? E. Jean Carroll once suggested as much to me: that because Trump preferred adult victims, no one cares. I don't want that to be true, but sometimes it feels true.

I don't know that I buy the "everyone knows" excuse for the collective shrug. That reporter he yelled at seemed sincerely alarmed that he doesn't care about Ramaswamy exploiting a rape victim. Which suggests some folks still harbor the delusion that Trump thinks rape is bad.

It’s a little disorienting that we’ve been inundated with evidence and testimony beyond mere allegations for a year and a half now and still the media shrugs, no arrests, no charges.
