THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)

Republican lawmakers are incensed about Trump's dismissal of Ukraine — and powerless to stop him. That frustration hit a new peak on Monday as they sought to address Trump’s decision to purchase Russian diesel, waive sanctions on Moscow, and potentially stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

Perfectly happy to see Zacharia go. But it might be pointed out that if she had stayed, she would have done infinitely less damage to the nation than Hegseth, Kennedy, Blanche, Patel, Vought, et al. They should be as unacceptable as—more unacceptable than—Zacharia.

The funniest thing about the Schmitt rake stomp is that if it'd been a Dem we'd have a week of think pieces about how Dems lack of hoops literacy was alienating them from real America.

why would you let meta of all companies run your life via an AI agent what is wrong with people

They keep using this line and it's nonsense for many reasons, but also, if that's truly the case, there are only about a dozen "fraudsters" per state: the insurers. No one else could benefit from this particular no-claims "fraud." So where are the prosecutions of health insurers? 🤔

The weird thing abt the Bo French scandal is while people lambaste his gutter racism, they DON'T point out his attack on UT was basically a demand that less qualified white people be admitted over Latinos and Asians -- a demand for affirmative action for white people.

In the past year, the Trump administration has killed at least 223 people in Caribbean Sea and East Pacific boat strikes. These attacks are extrajudicial killings and should be considered murder under domestic law and crimes against humanity under international law, writes @seharrison7.bsky.social.

lawfaremedia.orgThe Boat Strikes Aren’t Part of a War. They’re Murder.By debating war powers and war crimes, Congress is missing the simpler, graver truth: The president is directing summary executions.

It is very hard not to have contempt for John Cornyn and Thom Tillis, who have sold their souls to find some fig leaf to support the worst nominee for Attorney General ever. The signed agreement is worthless without the signatures of the parties, namely Trump. The IRS break stands. Moral cowards.

Trump and Musk promised to shrink the deficit. Instead, it's projected to grow — to $2.5 trillion a year within a decade (in today's dollars). That's a heavier burden for taxpayers, and it pushes up interest rates on credit cards, mortgages and beyond. My @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social Chart
