They are very different platforms. Bluesky is a social network, mastodon is a lot of ver4y small social networks.

I have seen both. I’ve even seen “Bluesky is bad” on Bluesky and “Mastodon is bad” on Mastodon hahaha

Fair enough :)

I tried Mastodon, but despite running Linux I don't have strong opinions on which flavor of Linux is best so Mastodon was kinda useless for me. Most of the people whose posts I wanted to read settled onto Bluesky.
