Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

Some of my close relatives became better people over time, less provincial, abandoned religious biases & work hard to overcome the racism & homophobia they were raised with. Despite the current fascist swing, they reject hateful media & embrace social & civic progress. Many are doing the same.
