Accessibility question for PC games - What I'm working on right now will have the mouse as the only means of interacting with the game (nothing very precise). Are there accessibility concerns with that? If so, what alternatives can I consider? #indiedev #accessibility

Sensitivity, cursor design, complexity of inputs (e.g. click Vs doubleclick Vs hold Vs hold&drag), but most importantly being able to use a different input device. What's driving the idea of mouse-only?

The game is supposed to be pretty passive (desktop pet), something you hop in and out of. It doesn't strictly need to be 'mouse' only, just mouse-like. If an alt input device has cursor capability and something akin to a left click then that would be suitable

Move cursor, single click, plus hold & drag were going to be my input actions. Nothing fast, it should all be very low energy. I'll have a look at the functionality of mouse alternatives and see if there is anything I can fold in to improve functionality
