Targeting enemies using AI is stupid because if you want to whack someone, doing it yourself is part of the fun. Why take yourself out of the equation, Pete? Seems like you're not even good at being a psychopath.

Even Ai says you can’t take humans out of the loop. It said and I quote “an Ai like me may be able to come up with the best way handle a problem however, Ai doesn’t have feelings or emotions… so a plan that AI can come up with might hurt humans. That’s why you can’t take him out of the loop.”

WHERE IS CONGRESS? Trump is waging an illegal war in Iran, and Americans are dying. Article I belongs to the People, not the President. Email, Fax or USPS Congress to demand an end to the strikes & immediate accountability: resist.bot/petitions/PA... 🚨🇺🇸 #WarPowers #NoWarWithIran #Impeach

"They dumped hundreds of billions of dollars into AI, bent over backwards to provide AI subsidies and tax breaks, pushed policy to force AI adoption and AI infrastructure. It never occurred to me they wanted AI for a reason."

AI removing human accountability is a desired outcome for them insofar as it speeds up the decision to kill before opportunity is lost & removes human responsibility or hesitancy. But it's bad for those want to limit such errors. Kunduz Hospital, USS Liberty were both attacked without AI to blame.

“It never occurred to me”? Really? We’re talking about Dickhegseth and Ratpublicans! This is a death cult that enjoys killing, and a cartoon cutout who sees himself as the Minister of Death! This imaginary version of Homelander main focus is “lethality”, so of course he wants killing machines!

It’s almost like they wanna disclaim persona responsibility for who they hit or remove conscientious objects from the process so they can do clearly illegal shit.

If new technology isn’t already specifically developed to kill people, the US military will find a way to use it to that end. Has this guy been on a deserted island his whole life??

It's as though AI is a destructive tool without accountability. Which is exactly why fascists embrace it. bsky.app/profile/atru...

AI is just a tool and like all tools can be used for good or bad - most people for example would not be angered by AI finding new medicines. The real malignancy is older than AI and its found in plenty in the Trump administration. Sadly its very human.

Or maybe not. The unfettered injection of AI into all possible corners of DOD - at a time when real risks to humanity from AGI/ASI are in debate, and capabilities are accelerating - is genuinely stupid.

The God shortcut says, "Whatever happens is supposed to happen." If you let the AI take over, God decides who dies. Patriarchy misinterprets the Bible to teach bigotry instead of #enlightenment. It creates mental illness. True moral authority demands ethical responsibility. They ain't got that.

Who could have predicted that the “empathy is a sin” people would unite with the “we invented our own ethical system where evil is good, actually” people. (Christian nationalism meets effective altruism)

This is the problem: No one has ever reached such lows before, so nobody prepared for them. More crime, ignorance, evil, hatred, greed, self-dealing, psychopathy, and failure to see others as human than at any time in history - and we're caught flat-footed trying to respond instead of prevent.

They want to turn "damn.. why won't my phone send this?..." Into: "OOPS, our AI just killed 279 people by mistake..." REMOVE THEM. LOCK THEM UP FOREVER.

They are fine with a machine that can't do basic math deciding who will live and who will die. These people must be REMOVED and LOCKED UP. IMMEDIATELY.

Reminder that AI facial recognition still has a failure rate of somewhere around 35% for people of color and still about 1% for light-skinned people. Even if you are the 1 in 100 they get wrong & not the 34 in 100 they get wrong - it could ruin you life.

It will be interesting to see how in future war crime tribunals dependence on AI impacts plausible deniability. ‘It was the AI’ could rival ‘only following orders’ as the weasel words of the banality of evil.

I’ve been saying for years that when you understand that their ultimate goal is to kill people, it all makes sense. And that statement seems to be holding up. Watch how giddy they get when talking about deaths and killings. It’s a huge tell.

So only the alcoholic, woman abuser would make the "kill" decision? Is that what we have come to (obviously yes; i.e. fishing boat kills)...

Pete Hegseth is a confused guy, taking human beings out of any combat related decisions makes this basic fact abundantly clear to those of us with honorable military experience. This applies to a confused administration as well. Trying to turn human beings into non essential parts is insane.
