FOX: How did Nancy Grace get her name attached to this mission? ISAACMAN: Those who came before me probably solicited a lot of great ideas for the name that should be attached to America's next great exploration asset F: So it's not *that* Nancy Grace? I: It's one of NASA's great contributors

Nancy Grace Roman was NASA's first chief astronomer and helped build the Hubble Space Telescope. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is NASA's wide-field infrared space observatory scheduled to launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a Space X Falcon heavy rocket August 30, 2026.

Why is there zero shame in such ignorance any more? A journalist/broadcaster just not doing their job and when they are exposed just shrug their shoulders and say never mind, let's move on.

For anyone not playing along at home; Jared Isaacman is a Musk flunky put in charge of NASA explicitly to keep NASA dependent on SpaceX for any/everything. He's not a scientist. He's a businessman. He couldn't care less about the shoulders of giants (i.e. Mrs. Nancy Grace) he currently stands upon.

I didn't come into this knowing who that Nancy Grace was, but also I'm not a news anchor conducting a live interview. But ALSO also, I had the same question, so I (&$@ looked it up and got my answer; took me less than 30 seconds. It's not just that they're ignorant; they're *proud* of that ignorance
