JD Vance on the 25th anniversary of 9/11: "I am looking forward to it, because it's such an amazing honor to get to go to New York"

So revealing of his character. It's actually a haunting experience, and I could only take so much of the museum before leaving enraged and devastated all over again. Honor them with solemnity, not focusing on how going to NYC honors you yourself, right?

If not for Peter Thiel none of us would have ever heard of him. No career in tech, no bestselling autobiography, no stint as a US Senator and absolutely no chance in hell he’d ever be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

Dear Mr. Vice President: I'm a New Yorker. I appreciate your attempt at throwing shade, but we don't want your goofy, five name, hillbilly ass here either. Fuck all the way off with your weirdness.

You can see him look down like, "Shit. Why did I say that"? He's like a cuck who is all "why did I suggest you blow your friend at work. In my car. While I'm driving you to Canes. On my birthday" while he hums and says "hey, we can take the carpool lane, eh? Hee hee."

Every year, I get up at 4:30am (PDT) to tune in to the 9/11 memorial service. I do this as my own little ritual to honor the victims and their families, to reflect and remember. The Vice President refers to it like a tourist excursion that he gets to experience again. Shame on him.

Wait, so 9/11 is all about going to New York? (Well, the hijackers certainly did!) But I was recently and reliably informed (NYT Op-Ed) how it's all about the architecture! bsky.app/profile/nyto...

“The twin towers were a product of their time, the mid-1960s, and what has replaced them is still, sadly, in too many ways a product of that same time,” writes Paul Goldberger on the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Takes the time to mock Biden - who is actually going to BE at tge event, unlike Trump who isnt going because he cant give a speech and make it about him so he's going to the Pentagon where he will embarrass himself

“Not as big as the one in NY. That one knocked down whole buildings and killed many many more people. I was there. Saw it all happen. Dig through the rubble. Very sad but my tower became the tallest building in NY. Most people don’t know that.”

I accidentally booked my 1st ever trip to NYC for that week and when I realized it I actually started to cry. I'm going to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in contemplation that morning.

The intense, multi-floor jet fuel and office fires reached temperatures up to 1,800°F, heavily softening the unprotected steel floor trusses. Once the weakened columns gave way, the top section of the tower tilted and fell onto the floors below. 2,763 people died. ~ Wikipedia

I’m positive Shady is an alien dressed in human skin. He’s so bad at being human, there’s no other explanation. Is everyone positive he actually graduated from high school, much less college?

I've been to Ground Zero recovery site in Feb '02 and it was not an "amazing honor" to witness that. I've also been to the Ground Zero Memorial in 2011 and it was also not an "amazing honor" to visit that solemn gravesite. GFY, Vance.
