WATTERS: Would you vote for a $5,000 check? TED CRUZ: Well look, it depends how it's structured, you know

Surprising answer. He should say: "as soon as the house sends us a bill for this, I'll vote for it." Since it will never happen, that's not even a lie.

I remember working through the pandemic and not getting paid checks because I was working. Honestly, that seemed like how it should work. Now they are switching it the other way? Where the underemployed and unemployed don’t get money? Seems a little inconsiderate to them. They are a small minority.

So, there are 269.8 milion adults in the US. At $5,000 a piece, that's $1.349 x 10^12, or 1.345 Trillion dollars. We've def got that lying around, right Ted? You've got that all structured for us? Dumbass.

People should be a lot angrier about this. Like, why are we all just sitting here debating this? You cannot debate this. You can’t just agree to disagree here. It’s not going to get settled at the ballot box when one side does this.

Honestly if he intends on running he would want a Democratic Congress to give him a foil and say I’m not part of the current administration- we know he is political so then he is still a coward

Yeah. It's has to not look like a bribe to a court and you have to prove you voted for the Republican scum and ... it's only an income tax deduction against earned income and only to incomes over $500,00/yr. in the tax year 2029.
