Troy Jackson: "Sen. Collins keeps talking about all the power and authority she has, but she never has it unless it's for one of her donors"

Oh how the only time she votes against batcrap crazy and or awful policy is when she knows her vote won't be the deciding vote.

“I will only serve two terms” says Collin’s to get elected. Nobody should believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

That is the question voters should be asking: when working families need help, where is all that authority? Leadership means using your position to solve problems for the people you represent, not just finding results when powerful donors come calling.

In a way it's a shame the two parties more and more polarizing away from the center, but this is a historical fact with a lot of preconditions and precipitants. Under the circumstances, a self-advertised "moderate" like Collins (or, for an equally egregious example, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick)

is a waste of space. They have zero chance of influencing anything; at best, they give shabby threadbare cover to the remaining dregs of "bipartisanship." The only reason they continue to win is because some people have fond memories of Tip O'Neill and Ronald Reagan sharing a beer while solving

problems. They want to pretend that there is still a vital center that could get together if only...if only...if only... Want centrist solutions? These days, you have to vote for Democrats.

Collins is a slick conniving witch she has Mainly voted with Trump, when trump has something to Offer her ..all of that stalling , Hemming and hawing concern, disappointment, troubled...all goes out the window when Trump calls her up and offers her a gift for Maine

I love that he talks like a normal Mainer would and quickly on his feet. He knows his stuff. He is the real deal. She's been in there too long and will be 79 or 80 in 6 years. You can still be sharp at that age, but isn't it time for a younger Congress?

Just returned from a trip to Maine, unbelievably there are still a few Susan Collins signs on the lawns. But heard far more people complaining about her. That shakey voice. 😬 We need newer, more viable candidates who will do their job honorably.

She must go she must go it is time for these old 7982 year old and over Congress member senators and politicians to be removed from office they're living in times past with their backwards thinking and Jim Crow mentality take it with you and be gone it's time for us to vote smart people 😏

This race is within the margin of error according to recent polls. WTF, Maine? “I got your rock salt exempted from tariffs if you can afford to drive your car. And you’ll have to be in your car because you can’t afford to heat your house.”

Is it bad that I actually feel bad for her? Just watching her being excoriated and just sort of staring into the distance and slightly rocking to and fro.

Fuck Maine if they re-elect Collins. She's a fraud and I thought Mainers liked authenticity. She's an old, out of touch fossil who has been in DC for too long.

Yeah. Bragging about all the power you have when is your record shows you have done nothing for the last few years is a bad look.

She’s gotten out of worse sadly. I just hope Mainers will finally see her for what she is and vote accordingly. I’m so sick of her and her “concerns”
