Eliot— After Renee Good was shot, I think you posted a *very* useful birds-eye reconstruction of the event. Is there enough video to do something similar for Pretti?

WTAF, you guys? "At least five additional federal agents approach and attempt to force Pretti to the ground while one appears to strike him with a spray can." At least five? Federal agents? Approach? Attempt? While one? Appears? Strike him? Spray Can? Accurate details matter.

Enough with the 'investigation' - we ALL saw it happen from all angles - cold blooded murder. There is no other conclusion. Anything less than that for Renee Good and Alex Pretti is a lie they are trying to sell. Stop wasting time and start arresting the murderers and those that hired them

Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

Hes a VA nurse his fingerprints are in the Fed Database. They cant produce a gun with his prints on it or a clip. Thats why they won't let MCSI investigate or the FBI. Its called Obstruction. Arrest Bovino.

Moriarty: "I was working with the BCA all day. What happened at the scene was that the federal agents stood about 2 feet apart w/ large batons & they physically prevented the BCA from entering the scene ... DHS prevented them from even entering the scene with a lawfully signed, by a judge, warrant."

I love your work, but "appears" to contradict the DHS claim? Like, I slammed the NYTimes yesterday for using that softwash phrase - Bovino claimed something along the lines of "he was there to cause maximum bloodshed" and that the shots were fired in self-defense. How's that not just plain untrue?

Ok, probably won't be the first person to mention, but after careful analysis of slo-mo videos I tend to believe that the grey shirt agent could negligently discharge victim's Sig while leaving the scene. Could be upscaling artifact, but looks like his right hand is moved and conical shape is seen

The "agent" in the light grey jacket removed Alex's weapon from his waistband directly in front of the other "agent" who was first to shoot him. He then proceeded to discharge Alex's weapon at the ground once he had it cleared. ICE executed him after that. They knew he wasn't armed at that point.

When state violence is justified with lies, when video evidence is dismissed, when institutions protect power instead of people, this is no longer only an American problem. This is a global one.The time for “dialogue” with authoritarianism is over. stop negotiating and resist before it is too late.

So examining every available piece of evidence in excruciating detail, and providing extremely precise descriptions of what that evidence shows in every step is "useless" if it doesn't also say that there isn't any way any of this analysis could possibly be wrong?

Exactly. The point of it is to come to a definite conclusion, if there is one. Here, there is, and they leave it as a "two sides" issue. I could say "appears to" the first time I saw one angle.

For Bellingcat, it's about presenting and preserving evidence, that can stand up in a court of law. They risk devaluing that if they start drawing their own conclusions from the evidence.

The federal agent who removed Pretti's gun (a Sig Sauer P320 9mm) most likely accidentally discharged the weapon. When the federal agent turned around, the muzzle of the gun jerks to the right and appears to fire a shot into the ground right next to another federal agent.

Could you please look again at what to me seems as a confusion of the agents, when they are putting him down. Not only the one in front pushes him over the lying person, they appear to be forcing him in different directions. The somebody approving them for action should become a co-defendant.

It looked like the same ICE-hole who shoved that woman to the ground, was the same guy who bludgeoned and then helped murder a Good Samaritan/nurse who was trying to help the woman to her feet. 😣
