Implement from scratch. Feel the pain of complexity. Understand where the pain comes from. Finally... install that helper package

When implementing from scratch turns out to be easier than using a framework, and when you try and rewrite it nothing works... -_-

Coming back to web after being in an environment where external packages dont exist I tried my own CSR solution, it helped me learn alot about the `location` and `history` browser primitives. It was actually not too painful, and i still use it for very simple sites with a handful of routes.

yes, i wish id taken this route my first time around learning web. My first time was during 2021 with NextJS (i fell the marketing/hype/tutorials) and while i was productive with it, I had 0 fucking clue about how HTTP even worked. The lines between next/react/server/client were far too blurred

Now that im using vite, i may try my hand at expanding the router to do server routes whenever that use case comes up for me.

You have to implement yourself to learn. It's how you learn. Don't skip the part where you implement it yourself, because if you do then you also skip the learning. Teaching people that they should never implement themselves is terrible advise.
