I have the bell. I have the cats. I have the enthusiasm. I have tried. One ignores me completely (but he does do high fives and turns on the spot) The other gets touching the bell somewhere, but not the button and he doesnβt press down. Good job they are cute.
My white cat, in the pinned pic, learned to meow at the front door at 6:00 am so I will get up and walk her on her leash! If I pick up the leash and show it to her, she trots over to me like a good dog.
My grandfather hated yippy dogs, so he taught our chihuahua to "growl deep" if she wanted to beg for food. It was funny watching the two of them together.
I would never teach my cat to ring a bell. I know cats and I know there are no more persistent creatures in the world. That bell would NEVER stop ringing.
The thing is , I'd get up and fulfill his needs , I do it now with Sox, he follows me from behind and meows if I'm about to sit down in front of the TV, I go back and refresh his bowl , with 1 or 2 kibbles , one time he swatted my leg and ran , don't slight the king
I wanted a quick sandwich grilled ham and cheese, Sox heard the plastic package opening and came running, a few years ago I made this and he jumped on the counter and pulled the ham out and ate it on the floor
My cat does this with a
treat bag. I wake up hearing crinkly banging sound. Look over - there she is tap-tap-tapping on a bag of Temptations. Sheβll do it for a half hour
