I hate religious candidates!! There is no place in politics for religion!!! Religion causes more issues in our lives as the differences of faith can’t be tolerated by other faiths!! I want a candidate that’s not religious and has a degree in political science, govt, or public policy.

Congratulations and thank you! Did it feel good to cast that first vote. I was 38 when I casted my first vote, it was for Obama in 2008. I left the voting booth feeling so good and have voted in every election since. I hope everyone gets that sense of pride after their first vote!

So interesting. In the past 12 years I've had 2 Jewish and 2 Muslim co-teachers. Since last year, my coteacher is from Syria and is a Christian. All of these ladies are awesome and consider them like family.

With age comes wisdom but some of these folks have been in Congress so long they’ve lost touch with the lives of their constituents. Maybe a 12 yr max term limit would get them back out into workforce living in communities they represented for a period of time before they run again.

Hope that Grassley just lives long enough for Rob Sand be elected Gov'nor of Iowa, so Grassley will be replaced by a DEMOCRAT. (He said the most idiotic thing [even for a Republican] the other day.
