the first time i ever saw yellow for plastic i was like “yeah, actually… plastics are like pee for crude oil.” blue carries a connotation of cleanliness. no idea if that’s what’s happening here, though. icons without labels are still bad. colours without icons is next level. haha

Yeah, blue is for paper, yellow is recycle/plastic/cans. Brown is usually food/compostable and black/gray for the rest.
