If you are planning on being in SF Bay area holiday time, look at Dickens Christmas Fair. Kind of a Victorian renfair without the chain mail bras. These people are committed. Last year cosplay naval officers gave a lecture on navy tech. It was interesting!

That is really nice. We have holiday lights all around town, but they’re kind of spread out. It’s nice to have an event in just one spot.
