I can't imagine anyone that's complained about that site wanting to stay on that site at this point, least of all if it involves paying them 10% the cost of writing.

You think he's actually going to get people to do that? I find it more likely that the site is going to be DMCA-ed down due to clear examples of stolen photos used without permission.

He has a few volunteers - one of which is very much a known industry asshat. The others are fans of his. It's very entertaining.

This is such a transparent grift it is causing me physical pain... Why would anyone fix their AI-slop for free when they can just add to these peoples' Wikipedia pages.

“What if you, dear reader, volunteer to fill our site with content for us to make us money? Would that be better than AI?” These clowns are exactly as entitled as I expect AI bros to be.

It's not even "would that be better than AI", getting rid of the AI isn't even up for debate, it's just taken as a non-negotiable obvious prerequisite which is very funny even ignoring everything else wrong here.
