I have a ttrpg chat thing on WhatsApp for local ttrpg nerds, and we get people joining and then promoting their paid DM games. It makes me feel icky as fuck. Don't have an issue about splitting costs for food and such, but it feels like they are just using chat to scrape for a paid dming thing.
