I really love what winds up being on the list of policy changes that it suddenly counts as politically expeditious not to harmonize with the US on. all these little levers like “yeah!! pull that one too!!”

Yeah, I figured we'd be waiting forever after it didn't go anywhere in 2019, but it's definitely one of those "well let's just stop waiting forever" moments huh? Wonder what else is just waiting to get done like this

to be honest, probably just a grab bag like this, or mostly very marginal stuff that feels like a forcing function but is more symbolic (eg the recent China visa/car stuff)
