Maintenance after 3 1/2 years: Perhaps $50 or so to have the tires rotated & wires/cables checked. I keep reading that EVs need new tires twice as frequently as ICE cars, but I still have plenty of tread on mine so far.

Honest question, how often are you expected to replace the batteries and how much is that projected to cost? My girlfriend is toying with buying electric but is concerned about that price tag.

That and, in the insanely rare event of a pack failure during the mandated 8 year, 100k window, several have seen packs upgraded, due to advances in battery chemistry and it not making sense to keep the old packs on the shelf idle for years.
